How it works
You tell us what you want to build. We turn your city’s rules into a permit file you can submit.
Fall 2026 launch price, valid through November 30, 2026. One payment, taxes included.

The four steps
Order and tell us about the project
Pay once, then answer a five-minute form: the address, what you are building, rough dimensions, HOA or not, and a few photos if you have them.
We research your city’s rules
Our permit team finds the rules that apply at your address and cites each one with its link and the date we checked it.
You receive a ready-to-file permit file
Site plan, dimensioned drawings, the documents list, the filled-in form, where to file it and the published fee.
You file. We handle the comments
With All-in, we review the file before you submit, then revise it after each comment from the city until it is approved.

What we do not do
So you know exactly where we stop.
- We are not architects, engineers or attorneys, and we do not make structural calculations.
- We do not decide on your permit: the city or county does.
- We do not pay the city’s fees for you: they are paid to the city.
- We do not build: you, or the contractor you hire, do.
Common questions
Who submits the application?
In most places the homeowner files the application, online or at the counter. Your file tells you exactly where and how your city takes applications, and everything is ready to send.
Are you architects, engineers or lawyers?
No. YesPermit prepares permit applications: research of the rules, site plan, drawings for permit submission, forms. We do not do structural calculations and we do not give legal advice. When your city or your project requires a licensed architect or engineer, we tell you before we start.
What if my project needs an engineer?
Some do, for example decks and structures in high-wind or heavy-snow areas, or tall retaining walls. If your city requires stamped drawings for your project, we tell you at the start. If we cannot prepare your file, you are refunded in full.
What do you need from me?
The project address, what you want to build and roughly how big, whether the home is in an HOA, and photos of the spot if you can. If your city needs a survey or a document only you can get, we tell you which one.
