# Terms of sale

These terms apply to every purchase made on yespermit.com. By paying, you accept them.

## 1. Seller

The seller is **LACANGEL GROUP SAS**, 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France, registered in Paris under SIREN 995 268 018 ("we"). Contact: [administration@lacangel.fr](mailto:administration@lacangel.fr). Company details: [imprint](https://yespermit.com/imprint/).

## 2. What we sell

We prepare the documents a homeowner needs to apply for a residential building permit in the United States.

- **Permit Kit** ($349): research of the rule that applies to your project at your address, with the code section, its link and the date we checked it; a site plan showing the project and its distances to your property lines; dimensioned drawings of the project, prepared for the permit application; the list of documents your city asks for; the application form filled in from your answers, and where and how to file it; the fee published by your city; an HOA request template.
- **Expert Review** option (+$50): before you submit, our permit team checks the complete file, with up to 3 rounds of questions and answers.
- **Until Approved** option (+$100): after each written comment or correction request from the city, we revise the file until the permit is approved, for up to 6 months after your order.
- **All-in, until approved** ($399): the Permit Kit with both options, and the money-back guarantee of section 7.
- **Large projects** (ADUs, garage conversions, barndominiums, tiny houses, home additions): on written quote only.

**What we are not.** We are not architects, engineers or attorneys. Our drawings are prepared for permit submission and contain no structural calculations. When your city or your project requires drawings signed or stamped by a licensed professional, we tell you; we do not provide them. The city or county alone decides on your permit. Read the [disclaimer](https://yespermit.com/disclaimer/).

## 3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable taxes. The **Fall 2026 launch price** of All-in is valid through November 30, 2026; after that date the regular price of $499 applies. You pay once, by card, on Stripe's secure payment page; we never see your card number. The payment page shows the name of our Stripe account, "baleines-invisibles.fr", and the charge appears on your statement as "OG* YESPERMIT". Your bank may add foreign transaction fees, since the seller is based in France.

**Not included:** the permit and inspection fees charged by your city or county, surveys, engineering, HOA fees, and of course the construction itself.

## 4. Your part

You give us accurate information about the property and the project, and you tell us if anything changes. You file the application (unless your city lets someone else file for you and you ask us how), you pay the city's fees, and you build what the approved permit allows. If your city requires a document only you can obtain, such as a property survey, we tell you which one.

## 5. Delivery

After payment you answer a short form about your project. Our permit team then researches the rules that apply at your address and sends you the file by e-mail. If we find that your project needs something we do not provide, such as stamped engineering drawings, we tell you before going further and, if you choose not to continue, refund you in full.

## 6. The options

Expert Review covers up to 3 rounds of questions and answers on the complete file before you submit it. Until Approved covers the revisions requested in writing by the city for the project described in your order, for up to 6 months after your order; it does not cover a different or substantially changed project. If the city refuses the permit for a point we should have caught, the $100 of this option is refunded under the conditions of section 7.

## 7. Approved or your money back (All-in)

If the city or county refuses your permit for a reason we should have caught, meaning a written requirement of its code or of its published forms, applicable to your project at the time we prepared your file, that our file missed, we refund the full price you paid for All-in.

Not covered: a refused variance or other exception; objections from neighbors; a discretionary design review (for example a historic district or architectural review board); the decision of your homeowners association; a project you changed, or information you gave us that was wrong or incomplete; a new rule adopted after the application was filed.

To claim, e-mail us the refusal letter or the city's written decision within 30 days of that decision. Details: [our guarantee](https://yespermit.com/guarantee/).

## 8. Refunds

See the [refund policy](https://yespermit.com/refund-policy/). Refunds go back to the card used, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

## 9. Liability

We prepare your file carefully from the sources we cite and the information you give us, but codes change and cities interpret them. Our liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

## 10. Complaints and disputes

Write to us first at [administration@lacangel.fr](mailto:administration@lacangel.fr). Buyers resident in the European Union may then refer the dispute, free of charge, to the consumer mediator we are registered with: **CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice)**, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, [online claim form](https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php). These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the place where you live.
